Power of Attorney and Third-Party Vehicle Pickup

PCS orders do not always take the owner to the same place as the vehicle. A third-party pickup can be practical, but authorization is terminal-specific.

What should I confirm?

Ask the destination agent exactly which POA or authorization wording, ID copies and consignee information are required before the vehicle arrives.

What if I need onward delivery?

A transporter can potentially collect after release and deliver to the final address, but that inland movement is a separate service and cost.

Do not wait until arrival

If you already know you will be overseas when the vehicle reaches the U.S., flag the pickup arrangement during booking so the destination agent can confirm the paperwork early.
