The fact that your orders list one duty location does not automatically answer where a privately paid second vehicle may be commercially delivered. It does matter, however, when you are relying on government-funded transportation, reimbursement or installation-specific vehicle rules.
For a privately paid second POV, the provider needs the actual destination where you want the vehicle released or delivered. That location can change the gateway, inland trucking, storage exposure and total cost. The destination should therefore be stated accurately in the quote request rather than copied from the orders if it is not where the car is actually going.
Military OneSource states that eligible OCONUS moves may include shipment of one POV at government expense. Government-funded shipment uses the transportation office/VPC process and official rules. If you want government payment, reimbursement or a change to the official destination, confirm that with your transportation office or the applicable VPC rather than assuming a private quote changes the entitlement.
Use the actual vehicle destination for the commercial quote and separately disclose the PCS context if it affects import, ownership or timing. If the destination on the orders differs, tell the provider instead of hiding the mismatch so they can confirm whether it changes anything operationally.
Ship or Sell uses the U.S. destination city/ZIP to model the gateway and inland leg separately.
