A quote is not automatically a confirmed sailing or drop-off appointment. For a private second POV, the provider must normally confirm the commercial booking details before the vehicle is delivered.
The provider needs the exact vehicle, running status, origin and U.S. destination to confirm that the shipment is workable.
The customer accepts the commercial terms and any exclusions shown in the quote.
A booking order or equivalent provider instruction identifies the next operational step and where/when the vehicle can be delivered.
Ownership, identification, authorization and import/export documents must be available as required for that shipment.
Modified, oversized or non-running vehicles may require manual confirmation before a delivery date is promised.
Use the provider’s confirmed date or appointment rather than arriving unannounced.
You can request a preferred date, but the provider or terminal must confirm that it is acceptable. Capacity, vessel cut-off dates and local receiving hours can affect what is possible.
Government-funded POV shipments use the official VPC/PCSmyPOV process and appointment rules. A privately arranged second POV follows the commercial provider’s own booking and delivery instructions. Do not assume that a private provider uses the same turn-in process as the VPC.
Use Ship or Sell to build the decision and quote request. Final drop-off timing is confirmed by the shipment provider.
